Senior Medical Officer vacancy, Guinea

Our client is a long established provider medical services for offshore and remote on-shore operations across the Middle East and Africa.

IMS is looking for a Chinese speaking SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER (SMO) to start as soon as possible.

The SMO is responsible for leading the medical governance and clinical practices at all mining project locations for the provision of primary, occupational and emergency health care services.

Specifics:

  • Postgraduate Medical Degree in Emergency Medicine/Intensive Care preferred
  • Minimum 5yrs postgraduate experience in a hospital setting
  • Mining industry experiences is required
  • Has exposure to tropical medicine
  • Qualified and certified in ATLS and ALS/ACLS
  • Experienced in use of Ultrasound/FAST
  • Hold a valid License to practice per the profession in the country and/or Province of origin;
  • Trained and experienced in hostile environment and has the ability to recognise the nature of the medical condition of patients,
  • Chinese and English fluency is required
