Our client operates modern public hospitals in Bermuda offering high standards of care from its international workforce and is now looking for a PSYCHIATRIC REGISTRAR DOCTOR.

Responsibilities

  • Providing daily and longitudinal patient care among an integrated disciplinary team managing acutely ill inpatients (clinic) and outpatients (community) psychiatric needs.
  • Longitudinal care of acutely ill patients to provide island wide services for the mental health directorate, learning disability directorate, the child and adolescent directorate or the substance abuse directorate.
  • Participates in the Electro Convulsive Treatment (ECT) rota as required
  • Mentor, consult and participate in community mental health programs.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree with current registration from country of training/origin
  • 3 years’ experience in a psychiatric residency programme
  • Excellent English
  • Eligible for registration with the Bermuda Medical Council
