IMS Recruitment is recruiting medical staff for a public hospital in Gibraltar.

The client is seeking NMC registered candidates for a medical ward. Commencement will be at the earliest possible opportunity for a 12-month contract.

IMS now seeking an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) for commencement date ASAP for a maximum period of 6 months.

Responsibilities will include:

• Anaesthetic care
• Prepare equipment and drugs
• Support the anaesthetist
• Monitor the patient during anaesthesia
• Surgical (scrub) role
• Prepare sterile instruments
• Assist the surgeon during operations
• Maintain a sterile environment
• Recovery (post-anaesthetic care)
• Monitor patients as they wake up
• Manage airways, pain, and vital signs
• Identify and respond to complications

Requirements

• Applicants must be registered with the UK’s HCPC

• BSc or Diploma in ODP
• 3 Years’ minimum experience  
• Available to start asap

On Offer

• Salary based on experience £30,378 to £40,140 (NHS scales)

• Other allowances.
