Nursing Director (Critical Care) job in Bermuda

The client is now looking for an experienced NURSING DIRECTOR FOR CRITICAL CARE SERVICES.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical expertise and leadership, ensuring visible and professional clinical leadership throughout the Critical Care Directorate.
- Lead strategic development and business planning.
- Translate business plans into actionable objectives and manage their implementation.
- Develop business cases for service changes and projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Prepare and manage fiscal and human resource plans, reflecting the Critical Care Directorate’s short, medium, and long-term needs.
- Ensure the production of quality compliance data for the Board, analyzing and interpreting trends.
- Address operational performance gaps, developing and implementing performance improvement plans.
- Ensure clinical, risk, and patient safety policies adhere to best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels and skill mix, ensuring effective deployment and active line management.
- Lead staff training and succession planning

Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years’ management experience in a senior Critical Care nursing role
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with current registration from country of training/origin
- Masters/Post graduate qualification / training preferred
- Proven clinical management record with senior leadership potential.
- Experience in financial and risk management, quality improvement, and patient satisfaction.
- Excellent English
