Our client is a renowned private hospital in the Cayman Islands offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient health services.

The client is now seeking an experienced NEUROLOGIST responsible for the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of patients with neurological disease.

The hospital has an established neurology service for both elective and acute settings.

Responsibilities 

  • Provision, with consultant colleagues, of a neurology service with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness, and the proper functioning of the department.
  • Out-of-hours responsibilities, including participation in the Consultant on-call rota
  • Cover for colleagues’ annual leave and other authorised absences.
  • Fulfill duties of the weekly timetable including any out-of-hours responsibilities in support of acute general internal medicine.
  • Participating in medical audit, the clinical quality improvement, and in Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Neurologist
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD or equivalent) with completed residency in Neurology
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology
  • Strong clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological conditions
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current clinical guidelines and evidence‑based neurological care
  • Ability to interpret complex neurological data and make accurate clinical decisions
  • Eligible for registration in The Cayman Islands
  • Excellent English required
