Our client is a renowned private hospital in the Cayman Islands offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient health services.

The client is now seeking an experienced NEUROLOGIST / NEUROPHYSIOLOGIST.

Responsibilities 

The Neurologist & Neurophysiologist will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating patients with disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system; managing conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, movement disorders, dementias, multiple sclerosis, and neuromuscular diseases; prescribing and monitoring treatments; performing and interpreting neurophysiological tests including EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies; educating patients on long‑term care; identifying serious neurological warning signs; collaborating with other medical specialists; and staying current with advancements in neurological care and neurophysiology.

Requirements

  • Minimum ten years’ experience as a Neurologist & Neurophysiologist
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD or equivalent) with completed residency in Neurology
  • Fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology or a related subspecialty
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology
  • Strong clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological conditions
  • Proficiency in neurophysiological testing (EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current clinical guidelines and evidence‑based neurological care
  • Ability to interpret complex neurological data and make accurate clinical decisions
  • Eligible for registration in The Cayman Islands
  • Excellent English required
