IMS is now looking for an experienced NEPHROLOGIST / INTERNIST for a prestigious hospital client in The Turks and Caicos Islands, Caribbean.

The role will be suitable for either for:

  • An internist with extensive experience of treating patients with nephrological conditions.

Or

  • A nephrologist who also has good experience in internal medicine.

One of the roles will be permanent and for the locum, the periods will be 1-3 months at times throughout 2026.

The Internist/Nephrologist must be able to manage a haemodialysis unit and internal medicine. Due to the small nature of the hospital,  the nephrologist/internist will be required to work with both the lead nephrologist and head of iternal medicine to cover haemodialysis and internal medicine clinic, ward and on call.

Requirements

  • Holder of a medical degree and Royal College / Boards / other certification
  • Western experience and training preferable (European / North American / Australasian/ Caribbean)
  • At least five years’ experience as a Nephrologist / Internist

 Offer

  • Locum 1-3 month contracts
  • Permanent. 24-month contracts (renewable)
