IMS’s client operates modern public hospitals in Bermuda offering high standards of care from its international workforce.

The client is now looking for a number of experienced medical personnel including HOSPITAL MEDICAL SCIENTIST / LABORATORY TECHNOLOGISTS.

The laboratory is a comprehensive facility located within the hospital offering the following 5 disciplines Microbiology, Clinical Biochemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Services (including an onsite Blood Donor Center) and Anatomic Pathology (Histology/Cytology/Mortuary services).

Required are:

  • MEDICAL TECHNOLOGISTS – MICROBIOLOGY
  • MEDICAL TECHNOLOGISTS – CYTOLOGY
  • MEDICAL TECHNOLOGISTS – HISTOLOGY

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved School / Post graduate qualification / training desirable
  • BSc. In Medical Technology or a registered technologist
  • ASCP, HPC or CSMLS registered or equivalent
  • Must have 2-5 years post qualification generalist experience in Haematology, Blood Transfusion, Biochemistry and Microbiology
  • Eligible for Registration with the Bermuda Council for Allied Health Professionals
  • Excellent English
