IMS Recruitment is a leading recruiter of medical staff for top Middle East hospitals. IMS is now seeking experienced for its prestigious hospital client in Qatar.

With staff comprising of leading medical practitioners from around the globe, our client operates a renowned sports medicine centre in Doha, Qatar.

Our client is looking for an experienced HEALTHCARE INFORMATICS EXPERT to lead, manage and shape the strategy for its health information systems.

Any candidate will require Proficiency in health information systems (eg EHRs), data analysis, database management, and health information technology protocols.

The ability to analyse healthcare data, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve care quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness is essential.

SPECIFICS

•                A solid understanding of healthcare operations, workflows, clinical care delivery, and regulations is necessary.

•                Advise team to manage the business and clinical software applications of the Hospital, including design, development, sourcing, and implementation of the applications

•                Provide technical expertise and render professional advice to hardware/ software vendors and users on matters relating to the development and operations of IT systems.

•                Develop contracts for services which are in-house or outsourced to vendors, against services outcome, financial and performance targets.

•                Contribute to the development, implementation, review and update of policies and procedures.

•                Lead planning, development, and evaluation of services for the staff and stakeholders.

•                Oversee and validate clinical workflow and processes related to clinical systems and advise how the EMR design and adoption can be optimized.

•                Oversee Clinical Transformation of Patient informatics, Patient Management systems, Order Management, Electronic Documentation, Clinical Decision Support Systems and interoperability systems.

•                Support the Quality, Patient Experience and Health Informatics in identifying and promoting research, development through data-driven measures and process improvement of health informatics.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Over 10 years’ experience in the relevant area
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health informatics (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated 10 to 12 years of experience background in information technology and/or healthcare administration.
  • CPHIMS (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems) will be a definitive advantage.
  • Excellent English essential, Arabic beneficial
