IMS Recruitment is a leading recruiter of medical staff for hospitals and clinics worldwide. Our client is a 28 bedded well-resourced public hospital on the remote, beautiful island of St Helena (population 4,500 and covers all areas of acute medical and surgical care.

The client is seeking A COMMUNITY PSYCHIATRIC NURSE (CHILDREN & ADOLESCENT) with at least five years’ experience for a 4 month contract starting ASAP.  The candidate will be responsible for a caseload of patients who have complex and substantial mental health needs, primarily children and adolescents.  The post holder will work as a member of the Community Mental Health Team.

Requirements:

  • Registered with a current registration certificate
  • UK Registered Level 1 Mental Health Nurse (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of five years post registration experience, including community psychiatric care and/or a Children & Adolescents Mental Health Service background
  • In-depth knowledge and specialist experience/post graduate qualification in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Neurodiversity  

Benefits:

  • Salary. Up to £40,000.00 p.a. (pro rata) depending on experience.  Low Tax regime
