Anaesthetist vacancy in Turks and Caicos Islands

IMS is now seeking number of doctors for our prestigious hospital client in The Turks and Caicos Islands, Caribbean.

IMS is now looking for an experienced CONSULTANT ANAESTHETIST.

The successful candidate will deliver safe, evidence-based anaesthetic care across surgical, obstetric, emergency, and high-dependency settings, while contributing to quality improvement, policy development, and clinical leadership within the department.

Clinical Duties

  • Provide general, regional, and local anaesthetic services for general surgical patients.
  • Deliver anaesthetic care for obstetric patients, including regional techniques
  • Provide anaesthetic support for High Dependency Unit (HDU) patients.
  • Deliver anaesthetic services for digital imaging procedures as required.
  • Provide planned anaesthetic support for visiting specialist clinics.
  • Participate in emergency anaesthetic coverage on an on-call basis.
  • Deliver evidence-based patient care aligned with regional and international standards.
  • Facilitate visiting consultants and support colleagues in a collaborative, collegiate manner.
  • Provide guidance on nursing care for patients within the anaesthetic department.

Requirements

  • Holder of a medical degree and Royal College / Boards / other certification
  • At least five years in recognised anaesthetics posts.
  • English language test required if English is not the first language
