Our client is the principal healthcare service provider in the Cayman Islands and offers the most comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and public health services through a 124-bed hospital and four District Health Centres on Grand Cayman, an 18-bed hospital in Cayman Brac and a satellite outpatient clinic in Little Cayman. has some highly attractive doctor vacancies.

Urgently sought is A GENERAL SURGEON.

The successful applicant provides a surgical service including routine and emergency surgical procedures.

The post holder is required to provide regular general surgical and walk-in outpatient clinics.  

The post holder is also required to provide coverage for the accident and emergency room on a rotational basis along with other specialists.

Must have strong clinical expertise in minimally invasive and endoscopic surgery.  

Additional experience in healthcare administrative management of minimum three (3) years of experience would be preferable.

Qualifications & Experience

The successful applicant must possess a minimum of seven years training in general surgery as well as a recognized post graduate qualification e.g. FRCS, MD, Board Certification or equivalent

Minimum of 7 years’ experience post-specialisation.

For licensing, candidates must be registered in the following jurisdictions to be eligible to practice in the Cayman Islands; Jamaica, USA, UK, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and/or Australia.
