IMS currently has vacancies with a number of NHS Trusts based across England wanting locum or permanent haemotologist specialists.
Contracts will run for 1-3 months in the first instance, and then be extended if mutually acceptable.
The Trusts require that that ideally candidates are on the GMC Specialist Register for permanent positions, but candidates will be considered who are not on the Specialist Register for short term positions.
All candidates must speak excellent English.

The hospitals want to appoint for the long term, but they will accept candidates for shorter terms of 3-6 months,
IMS welcomes applications from doctors who have limited or no prior experience from within Ireland. These posts are open to all doctors with full IMC registration and fluent English.
Locum contracts may be short term of anything one to two months at a time or there are more permanent positions are on offer. The attraction of the shorter contracts is that anaethetists can come over to Ireland for short periods, yet can retain and return to, their permanent posts overseas if they so wish.
