Job Vacancies for Pathologists
IMS has on-going requirements for a significant number of pathologists for positions throughout the UK and internationally.
So far IMS has recruited many pathologists to work in the UK’s NHS from overseas. IMS currently has numerous haemotology, pathology and microbiology jobs both in the UK and internationally for experienced pathologists. In particular, we currently have many locum pathology jobs in NHS Trusts across the UK.

For UK and Ireland pathologist jobs, all candidates must be EU citizens (or have obtained GMC registration if non EU). To obtain a UK position as a pathologist, all candidates must have GMC registration and for Ireland, IMC registration, please see our notes on GMC Registration.
Pathologists wanting permanent positions in the UK must also eligible for specialist registration with GMC and therefore should be at consultant level in their home country.
