Though the number of vacancies that arise in Ireland is far less than the number of opportunities in the UK, IMS has an extensive number of on-going contracts with both private and public healthcare providers.
We supply a large number of EU staff to many Irish healthcare organisations. This includes doctors to public and private hospitals, dentists to small private dental clinics, Having worked extensively with so many and varied healthcare organisations in Ireland, we have the requisite experience and expertise to be best able to assist EU candidates with positions with our Irish clients.
Requirements
All applicants need to be an EU citizen. It is essential that all candidates should have good English language skills and also be able to meet the registration requirements for each of their professions in Ireland. IMS will be able to advise on all aspects of these. Candidates already with registration have the greatest chance of placement, so it is strongly recommended that if you wish to work in Irelan, you commence registration as soon as possible.
Doctors
We have a wide range of temporary and permanent positions available for hospital doctors (at all grades and specialisms) and also GPs. The majority of the positions are for more experienced doctors, but IMS Recruitment does have some vacancies for more junior doctors. All doctors can expect the best terms available from our clients; the leading Irish public and private healthcare employers. SHO / Registrar / RMODoctor Jobs In Ireland
IMS is currently looking for several doctors to work in the leading private hospitals in Dublin, Ireland.
These are long term (1 year+ contracts).
This is an excellent chance to get into the Irish healthcare system and get good experience for future positions in either the UK or Ireland.
We are looking for doctors with experience in these following areas:
- RMOs with some UK experience are of particular interest
- Surgeons
- Anaethetists / ICU
- Internists / General Medicine / Oncologists / Cardiologists
- Accident and Emergency
All candidates need excellent English, a minimum of 3 years' hospital experience and will need to be able to get registered in Ireland with the IMC.

Nurses
We require most specialisms: in particular theatre and psychiatric nurses. We also currently have several vacancies for nurses for private care homes throughout the country. Dentists
Dentists with previous UK or Irish experience are advised to urgently apply as IMS always has several clents looking to recruit dentists that have previous experience in the UK or Ireland.
