GENERAL Medicine / INTERNISTS JOBS IN THE UK, IRELAND, GERMANY & THE MIDDLE EAST
IMS has on-going requirements for a significant number of general medicine doctors for positions throughout the UK and internationally. IMS has many general medicine jobs in numerous NHS hospitals across the UK (at all grades, both locum and permanent jobs).

For all the positions, candidates require very good written and spoken English For UK and Ireland medicine jobs, candidates must be EU citizens or have obtained the required GMC registration (if not from the EU). To work in the UK, all candidates must have GMC registration (and for Ireland, NMC).
Consultants wanting permanent positions in the UK must also be eligible for specialist registration with GMC and therefore should be at consultant level in their home country.. For more information on GMC registration, please see our notes on GMC Registration.

A good level of English is required for all of these positions as well as some requiring knowledge of other languages (in particular Arabic for Middle East positions and good German for doctor jobs in Germany. Registration requirements for each of the vacancies vary.
